When you’re hunting turkey there are a few important considerations that can have a big impact on your success in the field. What’s the best shell? What’s the best load pattern? And how do you get a perfect pattern that will take out the turkey with a clean shot – but that won’t damage the meat with lead pellets?
In the following video, our very own associate Anthony hits the range to demonstrate how to pattern a turkey load at 25 yards and 35 yards. He’ll use a Binelli Super Black Eagle II to demonstrate three popular types of ammo: Winchester Long Beard, Hevi-Shot Magnum and Hornady Magnum Turkey Load. Check out the video and see the differences in each of these types of shot shells. Enjoy!
