At 6.8 inches in length and a weight of 18.5 oz. the Sandman-S is the perfect cross-over suppressor for your 5.56, 300BLK, and 7.62 platforms, even up to .300 Win Mag. The QD system is design perfection. One hand removal in just seconds. No wobble, no seizing, no affected performance; just easy on, easy off, with minimal point of impact shift and no loss of precision. Hunting? Fighting? Competing? The Stellite baffles are welded into a solid core for added strength and durability. An innovative 7.62 design first, the front cap is detachable and features an integrated flash hider. This affords better performance, particularly in low light conditions. The detachable front cap also provides some level of insurance should the Sandman-S get dropped or abused. This equals trouble free replacement in the field.

Griffin Armament has been satisfying customers for nearly two decades with cutting edge sound suppressors.  Suppressors offering active retention systems are often times demanded by government customers and Griffin has spent considerable research and development efforts to engineer and manufacture a next generation system in this category.  A quality mounting system should be accurate, robust, reliable, require minimal training, and be free of wear prone metal on metal teeth or ratchets, thereby guaranteeing a longer trouble-free service life with minimal maintenance needed. Griffin’s patent pending DUAL-LOK™ mounting system, the subject of one of 6 pending patents related to the series, was designed around these objectives.  The suppressor itself should have minimal flash signature, weight, POI shift, and gas blow back, as well as maximum strength, durability, and sound performance.  These were the company internal performance categories that were scrutinized and met during the development.

The GP (General Purpose) suppressors were designed to provide the customer with a lightweight, durable, and affordable suppressor for general use. Constructed entirely of 17-4 stainless steel and utilizing our patented baffle technology, GP suppressors are both durable and high performance. Front and rear 3/4″ (or 19mm) wrench flats provide options for traditional use or forend rail integrated applications. GP suppressors come pre-drilled with a .125″ hole for pinning to create one stamp guns. The GP5 can be pinned on a barrel as short as 10.5″ The GP5 is a .22 caliber aperture silencer rated for use up to and including 220 swift. The GP series provides quality, engineering, construction, versatility, and affordability in one.
