Who is permitted to use the range?
All those who wish to use the range must watch our range safety video which is done in store, complete our range waiver and present a valid government issued photo ID with current legal address. Eye and ear protection is required. We recommend both ear plugs and ear muffs.
What is required to use the range?
A valid government issued photo ID with current legal address is required to use the range and must be produced in person. Our store policy allows for range use for US Citizens and permanent residents able to produce a permanent resident card.
Will you take reservations for lane time?
At this time, we will not accept reservations. Range use is available on a first come, first serve basis.
What is the maximum number of people permitted in a stall?
There is a maximum of two people permitted in a single stall.
Why is lane time limited to one-hour increments?
We want to ensure that any shooters do not incur long wait periods to use the range. Should you desire to shoot longer than an hour, you can be added back into the line.
Is membership required?
While we offer memberships, they are not required to use the indoor shooting range. Range time can be rented with an hourly fee.
What is the minimum age to use the range?
Anyone between the ages of 10-17 can utilize the range subject to the approval and discretion of the Range Safety Officer under the direct supervision of a parent or legal guardian. They are also required to complete the range waiver and watch the range safety video. Those 18 years and older may qualify to use the range and rent firearms on their own. Must be 18 to rent a rifle. To shoot a pistol anyone under 21 must be supervised by a parent or legal guardian.
What are the hours of the range?
A: The range is open Monday – Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. & Sunday 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. All shooting ends promptly at closing time regardless of start time (Monday – Saturday, 8:00 p.m., Sunday, 5 p.m.)
Are rifles permitted in the range?
Yes, most non-magnum centerfire calibers are permitted. Rifles must be shot at a minimum distance of 20 yards.
Are shotguns permitted?
Yes, shotguns are permitted with slugs only. Shotguns must be shot at a minimum distance of 20 yards.
What ammunition is permitted?
BRASS CASES ONLY. No steel or aluminum cases are permitted. No armor piercing, penetrating, tracer incendiary or explosive ammunition is permitted. Single projectile only. No buckshot or birdshot.
Do I have to buy ammo at the range or can I bring my own?
You may bring your own ammo to use in your personal firearm(s); however, for rentals you are required to purchase our ammo. See above for ammo permitted for use in the range.
Will I be able to test shoot a firearm before I decide to purchase?
We will have as many as 100 of the most popular models of firearms available for rental. While not every firearm on our sales floor is available to rent on the range, we have most of the popular models available for rental.
What is your rental gun policy?
Our rental gun policy is:
- If you do NOT possess a firearm you MUST have someone with you in order to rent any firearm.
- If you plan on coming in alone to rent a firearm, you MUST already own a firearm and bring it with you to the range.
- You MUST use our range ammo for all rental guns.
- You are required to present a valid government issued photo ID with current legal address at the time of rental.
- You must watch our range safety video and complete our range waiver .
Can I pick-up my fired brass?
You can pick-up your fired brass in your stall. You MAY NOT collect anything in neighboring stalls or cases that are over the firing line.
