With additional versatility in mind the Obsidian 45 is fully compatible with suppressor sights for seamless use on a pistol or carbine. Obsidian 45 baffles are machined from 17-4 Stainless steel barstock, with two indexing tabs for proper alignment. With serviceability in min the Obsidian baffles create a gas seal that virtually eliminates carbon build up between the baffles and tube. The Obsidian 45 uses a non-slatted design creating a full circumference gas seal. The drastically lowers gas blowback for a more enjoyable shooting experience. The Obsidian 45 pistons are cross compatible with Silencer Co slotted pistons. The Obsidian 45 mount is machine from 17-4 Stainless steel barstock. The engraving is strategically placed on the thickest cross section of the 17-4 stainless steel mount for fast and easy replacement should the suppressor become damaged beyond repair, it also serves to make the Obsidian 45 infinitely upgradable in the future. This 5.56 suppressor sports new baffle geometry resulting in reduced blowback. Built with the same care, quality, and attention to detail that has defined the YHM brand for generations, the Fat Cat was created to provide a compact suppressor with great sound. The Fat Cat is made from 17-4 stainless steel along with a heat-treated blast baffle. The combination of these materials allows the suppressor to be -rated and designed for rigorous use. The overall length measures just 4.5″ with the sRx adapter installed. That’s a full inch shorter than their Turbo K model with its included adapter. The Fat Cat’s larger 1.94″ diameter creates more internal volume resulting in a lower, more pleasant tone. With an average sound pressure level of 139dB at the muzzle, the Fat Cat is quite the performer for its size.
